
Please note: riding and pony care is a mixture of theory (ideas, facts, knowledge) and practical skill. With technology as it is at the moment, we can only offer to teach you theory. To gain the practical skills you need, you will have to practise at your local riding school, perhaps offer to work in exchange for rides, until the time comes when we can download a virtual horse into your bedroom!

Pony Care
Be able to name simple parts of a pony.
Be able to describe a horse or pony in terms of the work it does (hunter, riding or driving pony).
Be able to describe a horse or pony in terms of how it looks (colour, height, markings, type).
Be able to groom a pony and pick out feet.
Understand the uses of items in a grooming kit.
